| 1365749 | 2014-01-24 06:45:00 | Question: The Chrome remote would be ok if everything is working, BUT what happens if Chrome is buggered and wont open ? Currently got two laptops here, one with W7 the other W8, IE works on one (in its own safe mode) but IE, Chrome or FF wont on the other. The internet is working but some browsers aren't. The Chrome remote would be stuffed.:2cents: |

| 1365751 | 2014-02-03 04:09:00 | I have been using Screenconnect now for a couple of years. Based off my own server and can access from anywhere including Android. Great for my business and I charge on a remote fee to clients so overall I get my money back. Probably not so good for home users but is way cheaper than Team Viewer and only once had to revert back to Teamviewer due to some weird error on at the clients end. Turned out the PC was badly infected and as they had Teamviewer installed it let me in. I sure as already posted there will be other free options available. Just make sure they are secure if you have sensitive data. |
