1346443 2013-06-20 23:02:00 She blew hard last night, not so bad now.

Whole lot of stuff (Scaffolding planks) got blown down from inside our car port, thought that was the big bang I heard last night - but just discovered the next door neighbors fence was snapped off at ground level, and the guy behind us lost his big trampoline  -- Found it next door, it flew over our back yard, bounced off the fence breaking part of it, off the roof on the neighbours garage and landed in her back yard :horrified

That was the police :p

Driving 50 km/h down #Wgtn South Coast. Wait, what's that? Is it a bird? A plane? No, it's a wheelie bin that just overtook my patrol car.

1346447 2013-06-21 02:37:00 I live on Wgtn. S. coast close to the sea, 50 m. away the other side of the road. My neighbour tells me that he looked out at 2.00am this morning and there was water over the pavement. Loads of bull kelp being bulldozed to clear the road today. martynz (5445)
1346448 2013-06-21 02:52:00 Was bit of snow, it didn't settle.
Snow tend to break bits off trees and overload gutters, which means a fix up, that I can do without.

1346449 2013-06-21 03:09:00 Invercargill is bloody cold & there was a tick layer of hail early this morning, but no snow. Since then, it has been switching between bright sunshine & heavy rain at a moment's notice. Greven (91)
