252355 2004-07-14 22:08:00 I'm just about to buy a new comp, spending about $4.5k for this kinda setup:

P4 3.2, 1024mb, Radeon 9800XT, 2x 80gb HD RAID 0, 19" CRT, DVD+/RW

Is this about right for this price, i've looked around (TLS, PBtech...) and most prices are similar...has anyone got any suggestions to improve this system as i'm wanting it to last for a couple years, hopefully.

I'm gunna get Farcry and BF Vietnam with it and have heard these games should run fine with this setup.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Whats the difference (apart from 1 pin) between the 939 & 940?

252363 2004-07-18 00:45:00 if you want a good graphics card go for the x800 rather than the 9800xt, though it may be $300 or more, it will be worth it.
