A friend of mine now lives on Atutaki, a tiny island near Rarotonga, Cook Islands. She says it costs her $3 just to sit at the internet computer and 50 cents a minute to be online. :O Does anyone know of a more expensive rate? And on this week's BBC program "Click Online", TV can be watched via cellphone in Korea. Cool, right? Wrong! They asked a woman how she like TV on her cellphone and she said it was OK but it cost her 50 US dollars to see 45 minutes of TV!! :O :O By the way, Click Online is on Monday and Wednesday night (early morning of the next day actually) so if you are reading this tonight, Wednesday, set your VHS or DVD recorder to get this program: Interesting US Military applications @ MIT; Chinese text messaging last year = the rest of the world; how to upgrade MB and processor, and more.... |
