| 252412 | 2004-07-14 11:51:00 | I recently bought an Acer notebook which has a 40GB hard drive. This comes partitioned into 2 drives. The 2nd drive has nothing in it but the properties tab under My Computer still reports it as having 1.26GB used space! How can this be?! |

| 252415 | 2004-07-14 12:07:00 | Sometimes the Windows swap file is put onto a second drive. To allow it space to expand when used. (Though 1.2 GB sounds a lot) When you look at that drive using My Computer, go Tools, Folder Options and under the View Tab make sure that the "Show hidden files" is selected, to reveal all files. Hope it helps |
