252209 2004-07-14 03:43:00 I am sure it makes sweeter sounds at 2AM than any real baby,
and it has an off switch

That or give it away.

Cheers

252214 2004-07-14 06:37:00 To proceed I think we need to define "baby";

Google:

1) a very young child (birth to 1 year) who has not yet begun to walk or talk; "isn't she too young to have a baby?"

2) sometimes used as a term of address for attractive young women

3) a very young mammal; "baby rabbits"

4) the youngest member of a group (not necessarily young); "the baby of the family"; "the baby of the Supreme Court"

5) an immature childish person; "he remained a child in practical matters as long as he lived"; "stop being a baby!"

6) a project of personal concern to someone; "this project is his baby"

7) treat with excessive indulgence; "grandparents often pamper the children"; "Let's not mollycoddle our students!"

8) 1 . Dad, when he gets a cold . 2 . Mom's youngest child, even if he's 42 .

9) A small card, usually meaning a 2,3,4 or 5 . (Poker)

10) 1 . a new venture; 2 . a new interpersonal relationship; 3 . that which appears to be smaller of little account but my be of the greatest value; 4 . a spiritual truth; 5 . that which requires teaching, guidance, and direction; 6 . the harmonious union of two people; 7 . becoming open and unfearful in the sense that Jesus spoke "except you become as little children; 8 . undeveloped, immature; 9 . something just getting started; 10 . condition of baby reflects the venture, project or actual baby, such as ill, lack of nourishment, can mean it needs more attention, food or caring for . 11 . changing diapers means exposure, vulnerability, upkeep . 12 . free of responsibilities; 12 . something needing nurturance and encouragement .

11) niemowle [neeye-MOW-vlee] This is cool . According to my copy of the American Heritage Dictionary, the English word "infant" comes from Latin: the prefix in- meaning "not", and fari meaning "to speak" . So, if you take the roots of the word "infant" at face value, the word means "not speak" . Same thing here: nie means "not" and "mowle" comes from the cognate word mowic [MOW-veech] meaning "to speak" . An infant and a niemowle don't speak . Cool, eh? Date of entry: 2 April 2000 (Okay that was somewhat irrelevant)

12) the promise of new life, new beginnings . (To do with star signs I believe)

13) female (Adj . ) Referring to ones girlfriend or a female acquaintance/"Yo BABY, why you gots ta always diss me in front of my homies?" (Um . . . )

14) 1 . Slang: meaning low as in two baby Spades, which means holding two cards in the Spade suit having no value whatsoever . 2 . An adjective describing an instance, which is one level of bidding lower than commonly used or employed, as in Baby Blackwood (When playing Bridge, I believe

etc . etc . etc .

Now that we are all clear on the definition of a baby, I am still at a loss as to whether you mean it as a) small or b) a personal possession which you like, alot .
