| 252634 | 2004-07-15 14:44:00 | I have just installed Zone Alarm Security Suite ver 5. With all settings on automatic.Suddenly my new Pentium 4 with 1g RAM is freezing on every action. Is ZA causing this? | Apteryx (294) | ||
| 252635 | 2004-07-15 16:57:00 | ZA only affects programs trying to connect to the internet. Please let us know what every action actually is. The more info you give us the better we are able to give you a resolution. | mikebartnz (21) | ||

It is a bit long winded but really can make a difference. Run Spybot S&D and Ad_Aware to make sure other crap is not running as well as the latest anti_virus. As I said ZA will only stop internet traffic not most of what you mention. |

I'm surprised Mike never picked this up,as it's been discussed at length over the last few weeks. Hook |

| 252640 | 2004-07-16 04:51:00 | Thanks Hook and Phoenix. I thought so. I have purchased V5 as part of Security Suite. Can I uninstall V5 without without uninstalling the whole Suite? |

Yes you can.It should have an uninstall with it.If not go to add/remove programs and remove it from there. Then go to your HDD > Programs and delete the Zonelabs folder.Next,go to the link that Pheonix gave, and download and install v4.5. Your security will not be compromised in any way. Let us know how you get on when alls done. Good Luck. Hook |
