253139 2004-07-18 00:41:00 Been there, but it gives multiple companies, and I prefer to buy from one which has all the components I need, just so I know I can trust that I'll get all my components on time. Wilky (776)
253140 2004-07-18 01:39:00 try ascent (http://www.ascent.co.nz/). they may not be the cheapest but they have a big range so hopefully they will have all the brands you need. tweak'e (174)
253141 2004-07-18 01:51:00 Surely the idea is to buy local,i would imagine ChCh must have at least a few places that merit asking for a quote. metla (154)

Indeed. If my memory serves me correctly Tastech, Dragon PC and Styles PC are all Chch based suppliers. ;-)

Your unlikely to get all the parts that you desire from one of those suppliers however but you can always ask them if they dont list what you want on their website. As the poster said Ascent have the biggest range and have a very good name for service so if thats important to you go with them. ;-)

253143 2004-07-18 03:10:00 I would get some gear from StylesPC in Christchurch, they are pretty good for cheap CPUs etc. kiki (762)
