253068 2004-07-17 13:38:00 I recently had cause to use this handy set of tools (ebcd.pcministry.com) again, and I was rather astonished with what it contains :-

DOS v7.10 external commands
Volkov Commander 4.0
Console versions of archivers
Free FDisk
WinNT/2000/XP bootable floppydisk
NU DiskEdit
NU Unerase
NU Unformat
CMOSPWD
Floppy disk reanimator
Smart Boot Manager
WipeFree
XOSL
Volkov Commander 4.99.8
Viewers for VC
SCSI disk support
Long file name support
AIDA16 diagnostics tool
NTFSDOS read-only version
Rescue Linux
NT password recovery
Disk Image tool
And lots of other useful tools

IMHO, that is a pretty useful list to have on one bootable CD. The documentation is pretty sparse, but the programs work just fine.

Anybody else care to let me know of any problems with it?
Cheers,

253070 2004-07-17 22:34:00 Have a look at The Ultimate Boot Disk.
www.startdisk.com

It has won a pile of awards and the web site is a pleasure to view.

253072 2004-07-18 01:08:00 Hi Steve L,
That site http://www.docsdownloads.com/ is certainly great for speedy downloads - I had to upscale the FlashGet graphs to see how it was doing !
He certainly has some good stuff, definitely worth a bookmark.
Chill - I will look at your suggestion closely soon too. Thanks.
