I seem to be only able to have my desktop speakers or my earphones to work separately by moving the plugs into lime coloured point on the back of my XP, tower. I used to have them both working with the earphones into the 'Lime' coloured plug and the speakers into the 'blue' plug. Going to CMI Audio Config when I double click nothing happens. I have tried various combinations in the Control panel Audio & speakers with no effect |

This is normal, but if you set the system for a 4 speaker system, I think you will get the result you require.

I did try in the 'Sounds and Audio devices' that with no change. I used to be able to access the CMI config to do it there but can't now. |
