| 253338 | 2004-07-20 07:56:00 | If u want decent sound, u should get an Audigy 2 ... all onboard sound apart from Nivida's Soundstorm will not measure up to it.... and since its only $170 or so dollar ...which is not very mch comparing to what you are getting for the rest of ur hardware ...u mit as well pick one up : ) Note that, it gives u more than good sound ....but also reduces CPU load...and thus improving fps when gaming .... So when are u going to buy all this stuff?? I ll be interested to know how it goes and see ur benches ; P ..o yeah ..when u get a A64 ..try and get a Newcastle cored rather than the Clawhammer, and if u r really into it ..u should look for a good stepping on the chip ..that will give u more overclocking potential on ur chip ; ) |

| 253340 | 2004-07-20 10:57:00 | U won't find a motherboard for an A64 system that has soundstorm I am afraid . . . it's not released yet . . . . u should try and convince ur parent ; P or just get a cheaper mouse and keyboard . . . . btw, thats a very nice PSU u r getting . . . ur 6800 GT should be rock solid with it : ) |
