My assumption is the centre goes because of the stress imposed when idiots just yank the disc out of the cover instead of releasing the centre first by pushing down on the plastic centre thingy (I hope you know what I mean Well, I could be included in your idiot category, but not because of intentially mishandling a DVD getting it out of the case. Some ARE hard to get out and when I am fiddling with the disk/case I wonder why the cases are designed so that the DVDs are difficult to remove! But the delamination problem does seem to be a manufacturing fault. No doubt this will be solved. After all it is only now, in 2004, that DVD players and recorders are becoming commonplace, imho. |
