252997 2004-07-17 22:30:00 Rob99 was quite correct, some files cannot be scanned due to windows using them. Windows basically puts a "do not disturb" sign on them, which only windows can access.

If you boot into safe mode, then run the AVG scan, you will find you won't find the problem so much.

Also, if you go into AVG console, there is an opton to "scan on boot" which scans for boot type viruses that could possibly get into those files before windows puts that "do not distirb" sign on them.
