| 253690 | 2004-07-20 04:16:00 | With WinXP, is there some way to determine the size of each folder, when viewing all folders on the HD or all folders within another folder? By choosing "Details" in Explorer, it will list the size of individual files but not folders. By hovering the mouse on a folder the size is given, but there must be a way to see sizes of all folders at once. Back in the days of Win95 [ugh :( ] I used a free small program that gave a bar graph representation of each folder, and it gave the numerical size as well. Perhaps this is a feature somewhere within XP, or can be downloaded somewhere? Thanks |

| 253694 | 2004-07-21 00:46:00 | John, I have settled with JDiskReport. It is one of the very best utilities I have come across. The graphics and user face are excellent. And it is FREE, with no adverts, and no nags. It does bar and pie graphs, plus other means to show disk usage. Thanks again John. http://www.jgoodies.com/ >>Cross platform graphical disk report utility to analyze hard disks and collect statistics that can be viewed using charts and tables. | 253696 | 2004-08-03 20:53:00 | If you read my initial post you will see that I mentioned hovering the mouse (you do not need to click 3 times to see the size). But I needed something to show numerous folder sizes on one view, and the option to print the results. | Steve_L (763) | ||
