253706 2004-07-20 05:32:00 Hello :)

I am running Win XP pro

Now I am wondering how would I know if XP was running out off RAM or system resources???

I know with Win ME if I was running out off system resources then the computer would just slow right down or lock up.

Or,

Start --> Run --> taskmgr

Then go to the "Performance" Tab.

253709 2004-07-20 05:44:00 Hi Stu
I believe this is a follow-up to your other post about XP being slow (or words to that effect). Have you seen the FAQ (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) re computer maintenance?
Also, you could donwload a utility such as SiSoft Sandra to check out what is happening with the hardware.
BTW how much RAM have you got installed?
Cheers
Andrew

Megaman, a "snap" is typically when you say something at the same time as someone else...

you were 7 minutes later :D
