| 253459 | 2004-07-19 05:13:00 | Hi, Recently I had cause to restore my computer to a previous time- the reason does not matter here- I successfully restored it and found I had dropped over 1.mb of space- I redid it and again I had dropped an equal amount -and a third time this happened-- when I came to clean up the shambles- I find I cannot regain that space- I have cleaned up the registry and temp files- but where did that space go to and how can I get it back. To complicate things further if I downloaded a new program - sometimes all that space is returned- why? effie c |
