| 254014 | 2004-07-21 05:58:00 | I was wondering, theres some pretty awesome scenes in The Matrix Revolutions, as I have the dvd, and a dvd-rom on my computer, I was wondering how you can capture an image of some of the scenes, so I can use them as a wallpaper for my desktop. previous attepts had me watching the movie in MsPaint.... lol |

The reason you can't print screen is because the DVD is using DX or was it video acceleration I can't remember but heres how to do it: 1)If you using and app like WinDvd or something theres usually a button for saving the screen to a bmp in "My pics" 2)www.download.com (Or something smiler) |

To fix this problem you need to disable hardware acceleration before you take a screenshot . Open windows media player . Open the "tools" dropdown list then click options . Click the performance tab and under "Video acceleration" slide the slider all the way to the left to disable it . Now click ok to save the setting . Now to actually take the screen shot hold the Alt button and then hit the print screen button . Now you will be able to paste the image into your image editing software . Real Player To take a screenshot from Real Player you must open the 'tools' dropdown box and select 'preferences' . In the new window select 'hardware' from the category list on the left . Then under the 'video card compatibility' section slide the slider all the way to the left so it says 'disable optimized video and overlays' . Now you should be able to take screen shots from Real Player . |
