| 253931 | 2004-07-21 03:00:00 | Using OS: MSWinXP Home ON: Intel ® Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz, 1.00GB RAM with: Philips 107E5 (GS4) Monitor on RADEON 9200 series And: MSN IE vers6.0.2800.1106xpsp2.03404; cipher strength 128bit with all updates; And: Norton antivirus with all updates and Zone Alarm Full Security Suite on all default settings I have been emailed advice from Atlantech.co.nz by Mail Marshall in response to one I didn’t send that I have W32/Netsky.p@MM!zip This is listed on NAV's virus list but a virus scan didn’t find it. To be safe I downloaded the Netskyfix tool 1.0.11 which also didn’t find it. Why not? Is this a scam email? What do I do now? I have also received, worryingly, two confirmations of orders I didn’t place recently for updates of products I haven’t purchased this year. Would this be a way of retrieving my private data? |
