| 254242 | 2004-07-22 09:05:00 | good evening does anyone know how to get rid of the trojan backdoor.agent.2h i have tryed the symantec home page and been thru the virus listings and cant find one and to no, avail any help in this matter would be appreciated thanks |

| 254243 | 2004-07-22 18:32:00 | Welcome to PF1, rocket 1 If you check the Symantec site again, you'll find this trojan has just been renamed Backdoor Agent B. The site has removal instructions. They involve your registry & you may also need to turn off your System Restore. If however, you are nervous about this, I suggest you first read the FAQs (Top of this page..may take a while to load) regarding trojans & spyware. And if you want to ask more questions, I'm sure you'll get answers from those more expert than me. In that case, I suggest you provide details of your Operating System & browser...plus which - if any - of the following free programmes you may have installed (& importantly updated): AVG Anti-virus, Spybot Search & Destroy, Ad-aware, CW Shredder, a2 Squared etc etc .. |
