254229 2004-07-22 07:17:00 I have just plugged my two drives into my Promise FastTrak 100 TX2 card and tried to install the drivers under Windows XP Pro. However, it keeps saying that it can't find the drivers for the 'Promise RAID Console SCSI Processor Device'. I've tried using the latest drivers for the card and manually installing the driver by selecting it from the list, but it tells me that the driver 'may not work properly with this device'. Still doesn't work though...

As a result, my two hard drives won't even show up in the Promise RAID card utility! :(

If it helps, am running a 20GB and a 40GB HDD off the controller (not RAID'd together).

Anyone able to help on this one?

254231 2004-07-23 22:01:00 Last time that happened to me, I restarted the computer and it worked. Ofcourse it did it again - but only once more.

I reinstalled Windows numerous times (complete wipes) and the same thing happened, so I'm thinking windows core files and drivers need to get along...
