| 254213 | 2004-07-22 05:41:00 | My system is Windows ME. I un-installed a games cd by mistake (Euchre), and then I tried to re-install it, but the computer wouldn't look at it. I then tried to get it back by using the Systems Re-store, but this little message kept popping up on the screen saying that I would have to re-start the computer and try again. I tried three or four times, but the same message kept re-appearing. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. Potto. |

| 254214 | 2004-07-22 05:46:00 | Unfortunately System Restore never did work reliably in Windows ME. It is also a "System" (as in Windows System Files) Restore facility, so there is no certainty that the game would be correctly restored even if it worked. User created files are not restored, so its hard to estimate if all the Euchre files would have been recognised and restored, even if Restore did work. When you say the PC will not look at the CD to reinstall it, what exactly happens? |

| 254215 | 2004-07-22 06:27:00 | I put the cd into the C drive That is where I insert it everytime I play the game, and nothing happened at all. When nothing happened, I took it out and put it in the dvd drive. The set-up started and that went through 100% and when the installation started, it only went as far as 95%, and then the computer froze on me, so I had to re-set and everything was back to square one. One thing I did notice was that the CD had a small split near the centre. I don't know if that would have anything to do with all the trouble. Potto. |
