Computer should boot off CD and give you options to format etc. If unsure about the bio setting just try the CD in the drive and reboot. The PC might already have the CD as first boot device. hth |

| 254716 | 2004-07-23 12:26:00 | ..maybe use a boot disk to reformat the HDD [ after checking/changing the BIOS to boot first from FDD ] , then use the CD to reload OS [ after checking BIOS boots to CD b4 HDD ] ?? :| See ya , and have a nice weekend |

| 254718 | 2004-07-23 12:31:00 | when i insert the recovery disk..i get these options... format and recover hdd (i did this option but it kept all the data that was on the hdd) Try it again as this should do as it says, format and install. When you say it kept all the data what do you mean. This option will install windows back on. |

| 254719 | 2004-07-23 12:33:00 | When you turn your computer on press the "Delete" key a few times, this should bring the BIOS screen into view, use the arrow keys to navigate around and check the boot order you want 'CD/DVD0" first followed by either 'HD' oi 'IDE0' Rob |
