| 254642 | 2004-07-23 09:49:00 | Have you tried the Epson website? I downloaded a color stylus 670 driver from there a few days ago, works much better than the bizarre version XP keeps trying to foist on me. I still have the original driver disk (dated about 1999) but that doesn't work with XP. |

| 254643 | 2004-07-23 09:58:00 | I have managed to get an Epson colour stylus 300 to work under WinXP. This will not help you find drivers for your 600. As far as I am aware you needed to load the Winxx drivers for your Epson printer then download another driver and delete the original. A winxx driver will print in black on white but will not do colour. Is this what happens? As I understand it Epson are not going to produce WinXP drivers for the 300 model an I can only think that they may not do it for the 600 model. Having said that. Have you updated the WinXP o/s you have to SP1 yet? I just delivered a computer today and plugged in a USB HP635 printer and the printer actually worked without extra drivers intalled . I did update drivers and it worked with more options in the printer panel though. |
