| 254665 | 2004-07-23 10:27:00 | On the recommendation of many of you, I've downloaded Firefox. It went well (And yes, I'm a newbie - so take the plunge, others like me) and I'm happily browsing with little noticeable difference from my former IE, but with more confidence about safety... I've not yet investigated the plugins I downloaded, nor have I got the hang of the tabbed browsing. Need some time to work them out. Maybe I'll need to post questions later, but there's no hurry. My immediate query comes from a short-sighted woman who can't keep her text size big enough. In Internet Explorer, I enlarged it - and it stayed set. No doubt there's an equivalent in Firefox, but I've not found it. So at present I keep clicking on the Increase Text Size under the View setting. It works fine - until I leave the page & come back - and have to do it again. It gets monotonous & I'm sure there must be an answer? Advice, please, from you Firefox experts... |
