| 256113 | 2004-07-28 13:39:00 | I used to have problems with the downloads but that was when I was on dialup, no problems since I changed to JetStream - keep trying, there is a download there and if the Aussie EON site is showing the download being available then try that one - it usually gives me the least trouble. | andrew93 (249) | ||

| 256115 | 2004-07-28 14:34:00 | Sorry I can't help you with an analysis, zqwerty. (I'm a newbie who doesn't know about checksum stuff & mirrors). But I'm also on dialup (Win98SE with low specs) so there's no magic at this end. I just searched for updates in the program.. then gottit. Only thing is, I changed recently to Firefox as my browser. Maybe the problem is with Internet Explorer? |

| 256116 | 2004-07-28 16:29:00 | Hi, Until a few weeks ago, I was only using IE, now I use Firefox. I update Spybot (v1.3 -upgraded 17/5/04), AVG, and Ad-Aware via the programs themselves and have never (touch wood) received a Check sum error. In fact have never received any error while downloading anything. Don't know why, but very glad nevertheless. Hope someone is able to help out with your problem. Regards Marg. |
