| 256299 | 2004-07-28 23:58:00 | Hi Team I've been getting hand delivered leaflets in the letterbox referenced to This Website (http://www.homeearner.biz) for an internet mail order business and I am curious to know how the scam works. One leaflet promoted the mail order pitch, and the other a weight loss program. It is rather Amway-ish in its promo, but the phone number for the "recorded informational message" is 08 327 4003 and I have no idea how an 08 prefix works within Telecom's system. Maybe it is as simple as one of those "dial this number and listen to dribble at $50 per minute" scams. Of course you have to pay money to get anything more than the bland marketing blurb that takes several pages to say nothing, so maybe it is as simple at that!
