| 1367000 | 2014-02-06 22:42:00 | So, its from Jan 2008, cant use it in production now as the front fan are so loud..and I cant get any software to control the fans period.....Have 2 x 450 SAS and 4 x 600 SAS 2.5 disks, 2 x E5345 2.33 Quad Xeons, and 24GB RAM....Raid contorller is E401 embedded... I also have MSA50 shelf for 10 disks.....running on mini SAS connector which fits in with the P800 on my ML350 G5 at home....so thought I would replace the spare PSU with a DL unit, same spare part!, and change out the CPUs and RAM.....will have to get a decent UPD, as I need some more power points.... I will probably put my 5130 dual cores in this 380 and see if I can get rid of it....damn shame about the fans on these.... |
