| 1366406 | 2014-01-30 01:01:00 | So I just got a new HTC One...love it. The charger is only 1A, much to my surprise. Should I be able to use the Samsung 2.1A charger with it without issue? Thanks. |

It won't necessarily charge any faster though, having more current available doesn't mean the in-built charging circuitry will use it. Some chargers are a bit more tricky, my asus transformer charger puts out 15V to charge the tablet but if you plug a normal usb device into it it drops back to 5V and works fine in theory but I have plenty of chargers and the thought it might send 15V into something puts me off using it for anything but the tablet. |
