Windows has now turned into Adware? Charlie must have been right, MS have lost the plot and Windows 8 is a failure.

1347021 2013-07-09 23:16:00 I had to factory reset my Android phone and I can see some of the benefits .

Sure for real photography, you want real editing software, maybe Adobe and desktop will always be better but for the mass consumers out there, all they do is preview pictures, videos and anything else pretty similar to the cellphone, GPS maps, email, calendar, accessing some games there . A no . of other websites have gone this way too like Flickr .

Could be that they wanna align their computers to the tablets too .

More applicable for the consumer but I found that the ability to factory reset the phone just by pressing a few buttons and upon startup with a single Google logon it restored all my apps and my wallpaper incl those purchased apps . Emails, calendar was just all go . Could be quite useful for the average Joe or Kate even for a laptop/PC . Imagine if the software gets restored automatically without needing the DVD disc or the serial key b/c it identifies you . For the moment, traditional users or office pple might be left out, if they are using some other email, calendar proggie . At leats out of the box .
