1367303 2014-02-10 06:29:00 My son has downloaded some movies that he bought on Blu-ray. Apparently Blu-ray has a DVD that can be copied to your PC.

I know he has at least five because I have seen them on Auslogic defragger as it goes about its business.

I know that the address in part is C:\Documents and Settings\owner\My Documents\........ and althought I have searched for them I cannot locate them. He does have iTunes installed and I can find his music but not the movies.

The movies are taking up a lot of space and I would like to deal to them. The movie file ends with .w4v.

I have used XPs search command but this was fruitless.

Anyone have any ideas?

1367305 2014-02-10 06:54:00 No I don't think so. They are there permanently. Also I have used ccleaner and windows disk cleaner so any temp. files went long before I ran the defragger. Even searching the names of the movies is of no help. Bryan (147)
1367306 2014-02-10 07:01:00 You can always try WinDirStat lifehacker.com

When you go to the download page, scroll down till you get to Latest installer (currently version 1.1.2): and download OR windirstat.info install it, look for areas that are using large amounts of space, or Via the list on the left. then go to that section.

When you install it, it will scan your drive selected, and build a data base, may take a while, but you'll see it working.

Under the size column it will show the files / folders sizing for the area selected.
