| 1367276 | 2014-02-10 00:25:00 | Is it possible to change the Windows login account? For example, I'm not using abc@hotmail.com to sign in to Win 8 and would like to change it to 123@hotmail.com. Or is it possible to change it to local account log in? Cheers |

You can use a local account, but (I think), if you want to install something from the store, you have to use a hotmail addy. Which is annoying | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

Its easy enough to remove the password in Pro and above. Found This article (www.pcworld.com) relating to the password removal - dont know if it works on W8 Standard. |
