There is something missing in this story . Perhaps she had mild covid but that wasnt why she was airlifted out , perhaps some other health issue or serious accident ? If UN workers are going to take risks going to Covid rampant countries , they should expect to be looked after if things go wrong . Thats a good reason for letting her into NZ . |

| 1478983 | 2021-07-30 00:16:00 | Even if you are fully vaccinated, both shots and more up to date, you can still catch Covid and act as a spreader, you just don't get as sick and probably won't die, you still have to isolate because you can pass it on to others. Also reasonable immunity to the Delta variant, which is much easier to catch as we can see from what is happening in NSW. Apparently people who have the Delta variant carry a much higher viral load which makes them more infectious than the original Alpha variant even when they are asymptomatic. |
