2021-08-04 09:21:00 | 4 weeks? It's meant to be 3 . Ours are . . Ongoing research says different . Data from clinical trials shows that the efficacy was higher when the second dose was given at, or after 12 weeks The World Health Organization recently talked about 21 to 28-day intervals between Pfizer doses, but says the second dose can be extended to 12 weeks to gain coverage for high priority populations . From the NZ Health Site: The recommended time between the two doses is at least 3 weeks . You wont have the full protection of the vaccine until youve received your second dose . If you get your second dose later than this you'll still be fully vaccinated you don't need to restart the vaccine course . Depends who you talk to, different organizations give different times . We were called by our medical centre, well SWMBO was called and I was booked at the same time . Our appointment is on the 7th Aug with the 2nd appointment on the 4th Sept .

2021-08-04 09:23:00 | Got a message with a booking code. went on-line and booked both vaccinations at my local pharmacy. Went and got the first one two days ago. Next in 3 weeks. All good. Some people carp and moan without realizing the scale of such an undertaking. We are effing lucky. Unlike the so-called 'lucky country' or the 'exceptional' UK or USA. A sense of proportion goes a long way. :)

2021-08-05 04:39:00 | Some people have had a sore arm after, I didn't, minor worry though, better than death or lung issues. | piroska (17583) | |
2021-08-05 05:16:00 | I had sore arm after I had mine. SWMBO thumped me on the arm for giving lip to the staff there. (We knew most of them as SWMBO worked with them at the HBDHB) :) | kenj (9738) | |
2021-08-07 02:20:00 | Well that went well :) Got there 10 minutes early, person at desk said they got 420 booked today, just sat down, in less than a minute we both got called in. SWMBO doesn't like needles, so while the nurse was chatting (asking the questions) she noticed her reaction, SWMBO was joking saying to the nurse, We were talking on the way in sayin she should drag me in by the ear while yelling "I'm Not gonna get it - you cant make me" At that time the nurse gave her the jab, as she got a plaster the Mrs says--OK lets get this over -- To late its done. OH :D didn't feel it.

2021-08-07 07:53:00 | My mum had her 2nd today. Attempted to leave without the wait...and they got a bit excited, so she sat down, then got up and left 5 mins later. All good, she had no issues last time either, no symptoms or soreness... They have changed the room round again, and entrances and exits. Not that my mum noticed, she went in the out door anyway...lol.
