1474662 2021-01-22 23:13:00 Hi

I've decided to buy the Netgear WiFi Range Extender AC 1200 and setup seems quite straight forward. But I have a problem. I followed setup instructions according to www.youtube.com Everything works fine up to 2:38. When I click on Netgear connection, my standard connection turns off and it says, you have to connect to the internet first.

Can somebody please help me. Many thanks.

1474663 2021-01-23 00:14:00 Have a read of the Trouble Shooter page, may be of some help, has some options as well.

kb.netgear.com

In The past Some of the Netgear I dealt with have had to be manually connected Via Ethernet Cable. But this one should connect using the default Web Address.

The line "In your web browser’s address bar, enter the extender's default IP address: 192.168.1.250" from the Trouble Shooter page did the trick.

A thousand thanks.

No Problem. :) Sometimes the Instructions given by the manufactures don't work ( They should). Had that Yesterday, was setting up a Voice Controlled Light in the lounge - Instructions on Connecting didn't work, but saw another option and it did :D
