| 1474207 | 2020-12-29 08:06:00 | Haven't used Win10's Media Player. Inserted a CVD but couldn't get Win10's Media player to play. It also couldn't play a MP4 music file. What's happening here? I need to use a third party program like VLC to play? |

| 1474208 | 2020-12-29 09:17:00 | Some files wont play in Windows Media Player anymore (due to legal / licencing reasons) or incorrectly created files, due to not having the proper codec pack for it (had some MP4's not work) Use either VLC or MPC-HC. MPC-HC plays just about anything And you can alter output far more than VLC. www.techspot.com |

| 1474212 | 2020-12-30 07:16:00 | I was under the impression that MP-HC wasn't supported anymore, but obviously it is still The original isn't but this is another version that some others have continued with. As per the wording on the page: Note: The original MPC-HC was abandoned by developers in 2017 but this version carries on the legacy. |
