| 257229 | 2004-08-01 08:54:00 | LOL R2, but when it comes down to most computer probs, a lot of it is operator error, or lack of knowledge which cause's the roll on effect does it not? but to err is human i think is it not? surely it is not strictly OS restricted, but the whole system, box and all would it not? and then the operator finds there is a little irritating prob they cannot pin point or fix satisfactly......... sort of like your word BT ...of unknown cause wouldnt you say? and some might say it was not there fault when it possibly was? but that is life isnt it? passing the buck? :D beetle |

| 257231 | 2004-08-02 00:47:00 | Hmmm - maybe there's a nut loose on the keyboard? :-) Can't be the OS now - I've just put in Mandrake 10, and I like it. It appears to be able to do downloads (using Firefox and Woosh) at a quite surprising rate. Way above what Woosh claimed in the commercials, so that is a bonus too - whatever takes the credit for it.. R2 |
