| 256565 | 2004-07-29 22:27:00 | Is anyone able to email (or point me to) a 5.1 channel sound file that I can use to test my surround speaker setup? I've just recently bought an Altec Lansing 251 spkr set as part of a pc upgrade, but I'm not sure I've got my system right. The rear speakers are almost inaudible on the driver setup that I have. I'm using the onboard sound (5.1) on a DFI LanParty NF2 Ultra B. What I'm hoping to find is a short sound clip that cycles through the channels sequentially... do these exist ?:| Cheers, S |

Bear in mind though that the rear speakers will in general operate at a lower volume then the front channel, every 5.1 set up i have played with has done so,from comp set ups to home theatre systems, |
