| 256575 | 2004-07-29 22:15:00 | Do you get a error message?? you could check this first, with Outlook Express open got to Tools/Accounts Click on the Mail tab/Click on Properties on the right/Click on Advanced Tab at the top Select the server timeout higher to about 3 mins.Click Apply and OK Is it your Anti virus or firewall checking your mail ?. hth |

| 256579 | 2004-07-30 00:16:00 | Yes, it could be a net problem with your ISP and it could also be a problem with your modem settings. What kind of modem (model and number) do you have? I would suspect the anti-virus first though, particularly if the AV is Nortons. Try disabling outgoing virus checking and see what happens. |
