| 256898 | 2004-07-31 06:52:00 | I have just upgraded Office 2000 to 2003 SBE on my main PC. I tried to use my Office 2000 disc to upgrade office 97 on my spare PC but it wont allow me to upgrade. How can I fix this? | John777 (1510) | ||
| 256899 | 2004-07-31 07:37:00 | Are you saying that it found "no qualifying product" to allow the upgrade? This would depend on exactly what the version of 2000 is I guess, but it sounds unusual. Also, from an EULA perspective, if 2000 was "upgraded" to 2003, the version of 2000 still has an integral link to the new installation and is not suddenly "available" as an extra licence. That said, it should not be an issue at the install point, but may *possibly* be at the activation stage. Not sure if the activation of 2003 also recognises the event for the 2000 version used to upgrade. |
