| 256872 | 2004-07-31 05:43:00 | I have recently installed a internal modem, only it is registered as a "PCI Communication Device". Windows 98 doesn't seam to have any drivers for it. Is there a "generic" driver anywhere? | markk-b (5948) | ||
| 256873 | 2004-07-31 06:17:00 | You need to download the correct driver for the modem . There are many chipsets, and many manufacturer implementations of those chipsets . Generic is therefore not as likely to work, if indeed you could get lucky enough to get the right chipset . |
