| 256866 | 2004-07-31 05:05:00 | Hi ya, essay assignment mode again. and since i am using firefox it all goes into the firefox downloads box. they are all word docs and i can open them fine, but when i open word they do not show up in there, only in downloads, is it possible to move them to word? or my docs? suggestions and help wanted please. new teritory for me. beetle |

| 256867 | 2004-07-31 05:36:00 | Hi, In Firefox, select [Tools] then [Downloads] and you can then select a Directory/Folder to save stuff in from downloads. To make it easier for MS Apps to find them, you could use C:\Documents and Settings\username\My documents. (username should be replaced with your real user name of course) R2 |

| 256868 | 2004-07-31 06:06:00 | Ok done a bit of checking and have managed to move them about as "save as" but went to tools and changed options to always ask where to save . . . . . then depending on what im downloading tells me then where it goes . . . . i hope . . . . :D i found that it all downloaded to a temp folder ( similar prob in a nother thread currently- somebody else's) and did not at first realise where it had downloaded to . . . so kept going back to my download box . . . but i got there in the end . thanxs for the prompt R2 . beetle |
