Has anyone come accross a problem where the sound drivers unload themselves every night? Running XP home with onboard sound (realtek), with latest drivers. It reloads fine most mornings, but a hassle to reload all the time. Once loaded, it will usually be there all day, even if i have to reboot, but doesn't seem to like being off for an extended length of time.
Up to date virus scan shows no viruses. The windows restore does not restore it to when it was working either, you have to physically select the driver from the list to reload. Thanks for any advice/info. |
