256773 2004-07-30 21:36:00 You can use the PrtScn key on your keyboard. It appears that nothing happens when you press it but that isn't the case. This will copy the screen to the clipboard. Next you open a graphics program like MSPaint, Photoshop or PaintShopPro and paste the clipboard as a new image. Elephant (599)

256775 2004-07-30 21:49:00 I use ScreenPrint32 which you can find at www.screenprint32.com.

It is free for personal use and has the advantage of either printing the capture or saving it to disk.

It allows you to capture either the whole screen, the active window or a defined area.

256776 2004-07-30 23:38:00 Download IrfanView, an amazing free photo program:

http://www.irfanview.com/

Many of us here on PF1 use this program even when we have Photoshop or other larger graphics programs. One of the best things about IrfanView is how **quickly** it starts up and performs tasks.

IrfanView has some great options for Screen Capture.

256777 2004-07-31 02:52:00 HoverSnap is what I use and is very easy to use and very effective.
It was mentioned here a few weeks ago.
It's about 350kbs and free.
Just put HoverSnap into Google to get it.
