257462 2004-08-02 04:43:00 Hi ya am doing a trial of thunderbird for my mail client > grizzle moan at getting correct settings done.....

been so long since i had to worry about pop and smtp stuff......

but what i want to know is when i used OE i have a signiture at bottom of every email i sent and it has more than one line in it (full address, names etc)
in thunderbird i can only get it to hold one line, is there an extension to alter this and if so what are the details i need?

and as i have not used this prog before all new teritory for me, any tips or help would be greatly accepted.

if its good enough i want it to take over the work email.

I've found it OK - just make your signature as a txt file and attach as signature file in Account settings

another question i have is, does thunderbird not put an icon on your desktop? or start menu? where does it put a default opening icon?

it may be staring me straight in the eye, but i cannot see it.
