2004-08-01 23:53:00 | Hi there! Need help! When using Fdisk to delete extended partition on HDD in PC with Pent S and Win98 asked to enter volume label. Since I did not define lebel, getting "volume label don't match". How to get around this? Thanks

2004-08-02 00:21:00 | Up the top it will display the Volume Label. If there isnt one, just hit Enter If you do that and its still complaining, its because there is a label, so double-check :-) Chill.

2004-08-02 00:43:00 | why do people insist on promoteing a paid or illegal/warez program exspecially when the free tools will do the same job ]:) | tweak'e (174) | |
2004-08-02 00:57:00 | Partition Magic 6.0, fully working, was a freebie on a Aussie Mags cover disc. Works fine for W98 but not for XP. Not exactly an illegal copy is it? And is also the easiest one to use. Bye

2004-08-02 07:23:00 | i wouldn't call PM guru of all programs by any streach of the imagantion. i would call it $90 wasted :p . about the only thing it does that can't be done by free ones is shift data on the partitons (eg resizing partitions that are full of data). | tweak'e (174) | |
2004-08-02 10:52:00 | Download Knoppix - or grab it from Dick Smith Electronics IIRC it should have qtparted on it. Im pretty sure that 3.4 does (although DSE are distributing 3.3 from what Ive heard). qtparted - free and does very much what PM does - Non-destructive also! ....There are other programs out there
