A very annoying Instant Message keeps popping up quite fequently, sometimes even when I am off-line; it says that the '180search Assistant' has been accidentally uninstalled which could cause certain programmes not to run properly. Then it gives men three opions: 1 Reinstall 180search assistant......, 2 Leave 180search Assistant uninstalled........, 3 Remind me later........, after that I am supposed to click on the 'Contiue' butten, which I haven't done so far, I just get rid of it with the 'close' button. I'm pretty sure there is something fishy about this message. I'm running Windows XP Home. Would be grateful, if someone could shed some light on it please. - Thanks |

i would select 2 and contiue. if it still pops up then give adaware/spbot a run or if all else fails clean the offending entry out of startup. hopefully its only the last bit of the uninstaller running. |

If you have XP, then it may pay to close the administrator messaging as well, which is used for spamming messages , avaiable to read about and download here (www.grc.com) |
