| 257234 | 2004-08-01 10:56:00 | I was given one of these with a Cyrix 233 processor. It has a slimline desktop case. Its going and I want to connect it to my network but... it doesn't have any PCI slots, it doesn't have usb, it has one ISA slot but its not a full size slot (only has half of the ISA slot). I have have a network card that would fit but... it is a full height ISA card and won't fit in the slimline case as the card is mounted 90 degrees to the motherboard. These machines are the most un-upgradable I have ever seen. It also takes 72 pin ram whereas my Dell PII 233 takes SD. | Dolby Digital (160) | ||

Even for a compaq this model beggared belief in its lack of features and its abilty to be upgraded. One of the worst comps I have ever come across. Should be destroyed as a crime against technology. |
