| 257201 | 2004-08-07 03:55:00 | Update: Just had a go at practically everything. Doesn't work... We got another P200 machine, hoping that it could take over for the time being. Problem is, everything is fine, the keyboard is said to be 'having a error' or not there! It is there!, it's those big chunky round connectors, the ones that came out before PS/2. I know it's there, because it's plugged in and when ever I hit anything, it beaps loudly through the inbuilt speakers. Any help to get either going would be much appreciated |

| 257202 | 2004-08-07 04:02:00 | If you get a beep each time you hit a key, that often indicates that the keyboard input queue is full. But a stuckdown key (the common cause of this) gives repeated beeps.;-) Do the caps lock, num lock, scroll lock, keys toggle their leds? |

| 257203 | 2004-08-07 04:14:00 | Thanks for the response, nope! Nothing is stuck or broken. We've tried 3 keyboards with all the same result. No matter what key you press, it beeps. But other than that, it does nothing (cant get DEL into Bio) Cheers, |

| 257204 | 2004-08-07 04:19:00 | Turn the keyboard over. Look for a little switch marked "AT/PC", and make sure it's in the "AT" position. | Graham L (2) | ||
