| 258115 | 2004-08-03 23:49:00 | A friend has lost his Outlook Calendar and wants to see if there is a backup calendar file on his hard-drive some where? point 2 - can the calendar (or entire outlook file) be saved as a backup file somehow? I don't use outlook (only express) and can't offer any assistance to him ... any help would be appreciated (I have checked the search but found nothing remotely similar) cheers B) |

| 258116 | 2004-08-04 00:18:00 | Which version of Outlook is your friend using? If it is Outlook 2000 or newer then try the free add-in from Microsoft (www.microsoft.com). It will allow you to backup the entire Outlook pst file to another drive or directory and then you can put it on CD or whatever. | Sb0h (3744) | ||
| 258117 | 2004-08-04 12:24:00 | Thanks Sb0h, I think it is Outlook 2000 - and I will download this utility and give it to him. That will take care of backups from now on ... any ideas on how to track down his old Outlook Calendar files, etc ??? cheers B) |
