| 257963 | 2004-08-06 00:32:00 | Well, just to be a masochist I tried it on my work P4 2GHz, 768MB RAM and GF4 MX420 64MB video card. I had to use low settings and 640 x 480. Well, I guess if that was all you had and you really wanted to play Doom you could actually do it, but I doubt you'd enjoy it -- the frame rate is just not there. That said, I was impressed with how good it managed to look at good old 640 x 480. But to play it that way...... nah. | Biggles (121) | ||

Scotty just ran it on a P4 3.6Gz Extreme Edition, running on Intel 925 chipset, 1GB 533DDR2 RAM, Radeon X800XTvideo card (PCI express). The demo1 ran at 1600 x 1200, High settings and got 75FPS. Needless to say it looks gorgeous on that rig ..... |

| 257968 | 2004-08-06 00:53:00 | Guys, post you system specs and demo1 FPS. To run the demo, access the console by typing ctrl alt ~ then type: timedemo demo1 Run the demo through twice. The first time through will be slower than the second (some caching obviously takes place). |
